Getting better in getting out - Tuesday evening in Utrecht

We are getting better and better in getting out.
This time we not only got out but also got in - into the Rodrigo and Gabriela's world of guitar music! And we loved it!

With our brave captain Tanya, co-pilot Aogan, Marcel, Maartje, Nacho, Ola and Laurens on the board of our AIR TANYA we went to the fantastic city of Utrecht. Before we reached our final destination - Tivoli, we had been faced with local hooligans and strict Dutch rules. But finally...
Interesting things happened allready in the cloakroom - we saw some Wageningen people, including M. Nujten.
The supporting band was awesome (oh, the young drummer!). But Rodrigo y Gabriela, oh, oh, they were amazing! It is incredible what you can do with only two guitars! (okay, now many things come to my mind, but let's leave it).
Overwhelmed by all that music, Aogan and Nacho kept drinking - Aogan because he was happy (when Aogan's happy everybody's happy!) and Nacho because he discovered that people (the public) were empty inside.
Aogan and Ola riverdanced until Ola's leg almost fell off but finally it was Tanya who took off her shoes.
And it has to be said - we did not behave ourselves (and this time it was not Marcel who was the most impolite).
After the concert Maartje showed us a nice bar with life music where we decided to make even more life music showing impressing furniture drumming skills.
Some of us got engaged in a hot political debate which got us some well deserved attention from one of the weiters - concerned about the safety of other guests he wanted to make sure it was a friendly debate and not a foreplay of a violent conflict. Apparently he has never seen any MID students affected by the unbearable routine of life in Wageningen before...
